Following our extensive survey of companies regarding their use pattern of manganese metal the CSR was thoroughly updated and a registration update was submitted on 21 September 2021 - this was rejected with raised concerns from ECHA. The concens were addressed and the dossier submitted and accepted on  7 December 2021.

A further update more of an admin nature - submission of the CSR jointly was carried and acepted on December 8th, 2021

We consider that the jointly submitted CSR covers the vast majority of common uses of manganese metal in the EU but registrants should check carefully to make sure that their own uses are covered. Registrants with niche uses may need to complete their own CSR to cover that use.

We do not anticipate any more work on Mn metal dossier in 2022. However, all cost incurred in 2021 will be recalculated in the reimbursement model and LoA top-up fees/credit notes will be issued by end of year 2022
