Quarter 1 , 2026 saw the update of two Lead Dossiers

Manganese (EC 231-105-1): New information on Endocrine disruption was included in the Lead Dossier. The information did not change the safe use information nor the CSR. Therefore, the CSR submitted by the Lead on behalf of co-registrant has not changed.

Trimanganese Tetraoxide (EC 215-266-5): This Lead dossier saw the  bioaccumulation waiver strengthened with a much more robust argumentation not in favour on conducting a study, meanwhile the CSR was updated to include exposure assessment for humans exposed via the environment. Both aspects of the update were mandatory – upon ECHA’s request. A new industrial use was added to cover  the use of well drilling products – this was at the request of some registrants. An updated CSR is available.
